First ER trip

Not a fun day. I got a call at 10am from Xander’s school. Luckily I was still in town and in the neighborhood.  It turns out Xander inherited my grace and fell, knocking his head and slicing his face open on the sensory table. When I got there he was still crying and bleeding a bit. I brought him to the emergency room to have him checked out. They brought us back, cleaned it off and decided it needed one stitch to keep it closed. They gave me the job of dabbing  the numbing cream on it every minute for half an hour. They said the deeper it gets the less likely he’ll feel the stitch. I really poked it in there. He sat perfectly in my lap while the resident put the stitch in. He didn’t feel it at. He was so strong and brave. I’m Super proud.
